Welcome to the new website for the Boronia Fire Brigade!!!

Boronia Fire Brigade is an integrated fire brigade that is situated in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. We are a Volunteer/Paid Staff fire brigade which attends an average of 980 calls a year. We have about 35 operational volunteer firefighters and about 30 paid firefighters who's role is to support other volunteer fire brigades in the City of Knox 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Knox Council has seven urban fire brigades and one rural fire brigade which combine to become what we call the Knox Fire Brigades Group. Boronia Fire Brigade is run under the Country Fire Authority which maintains other fire brigades in the state of Victoria, except for an area of Melbourne which is covered by the Metropolitan Fire Brigade, which contains all paid firefighters.
